Well this blog is on Research, Citations, and Plagiarism.There are three different ways to use APA citations that can help you not to plagiarise that I have learned in my reading this week and hope we all use them!! Summary where you summarize the authors words then give credit to the author in parenthesis. Same with paraphrasing you paraphrase what you read then cite the author in parenthesis after. Then a direct quotation. Where you directly quote the author and put what they say in quotaion marks. We can all do this easily and keep our papers clean and tidy for our professor to read and learn what we all want to say in our thesis.
Well other than our reading this weeek we have a quiz as well as seminar and d iscussion. And I will see you all there !! Laura J

ReplyDeleteI am not seeing very good results from the quiz. I want everyone to know I did not compose this quiz, and when I took it I did not get 100%. It is all based on listening to the video and very tricky. I may consider adding points to everyone's score because I think it is not a very fair quiz.
